"From the first visit to the darkness, I was fascinated by how this therapy reliably and deeply affects the human psyche and body. I was therefore eager to create a space in my home where I could share this unique experience with others, and my garden with its stream proved to be the ideal place for this therapy. Today, hundreds of people come to us from the Czech Republic and abroad, seeking peace, new perspectives or a path to inner balance. Many return and confirm that the darkness can be a profound tool for change.
In collaboration with scientists, we are also exploring the positive effects of darkness on the body - from regenerating eyesight and improving the sleep cycle to boosting mental resilience and overall vitality. I myself regularly return to the dark to enjoy moments of peace and rest. I have also cared about conservation since childhood, but caring for people through the dark is an even deeper calling for me."

What does being in the dark get me?
Effective and yet so simple. That's why we go into the dark ourselves.
Rest and regeneration of body and mind
In the darkness, the body and mind find a deep peace that helps you relax and regenerate. Without external stimuli, you can grow out accumulated fatigue and gain new energy. Darkness also promotes the natural production of melatonin, which can lead to improved sleep quality, harmonisation of biorhythms and overall hormonal balance. In the dark, you'll also start to notice subtle sounds more, such as your own heartbeat or breathing, which can teach you to focus better and be present in the moment.
A healthy relationship with yourself and your surroundings
